Fast Facts:

Over 6 million animals
are killed for the
dissection
industry each year.

Approximately 500,000
puppies per year are bred in
puppy mills, whileanimals in shelters are dying every day. Most puppies in pet stores are victims of the puppy mill trade.  There are also kitten mills as well.

Around 300 million egg-laying hens in the United States are confined in
battery cages, the birds cannot even stretch their wings or legs because the tiny wire cages are so small. After 1 year in battery cages, the hens are sent to slaughter as they are no longer profitable to the egg industry. For every egg-laying hen in the battery cages, their is a male chick killed at the hatchery. (A common method used to dispose of these animals is to grind them up alive!)

in crates only 2 feet wide.
They cannot turn around,
stretch their legs, or even lie

These minks were raised and brutally  killed
for their fur coats.

To make a single fur coat, fur farmers must kill at least 50 animals like these, using inhumane methods such as clubbing, gassing, anal electrocution and trapping.
